Phoenix returns home after a successful two game road trip. They swept the road trip with wins over Dallas and LA.
Against LA last time out they were without the WNBA’s all-time leading scorer, Diana Taurasi. Natasha Cloud stepped up in DT’s absence, scoring a career high 31 points.
Cloud, mainly known for her defense and passing, is scoring just over 12 points a game this year. That is four points higher than her career average.
It was announced Tuesday night that DT will not play for the second game in a row. DT has averaged 21 points a game this year against Dallas. Not having that offensive production will play a role in my AI betting prediction.

Dallas Wings Preview
The Wings fell in Vegas their last time out. It was a high-tempo game with Dallas losing 104-85. Odyssey Sims led Dallas in scoring putting up a season-high 25 points.
It was a down game for Arike Ogunbowale. Ogunbowale, the lone All-Star on the Wings roster, is leading the team in scoring at 23 points a game. The four-time All-Star is averaging an impressive 30 points a game this year against the Mercury.
Ogunbowale is one of the few bright spots for the Wings this year. They currently stand at 3-13 thanks to a laundry list of injuries. The Wings are currently missing Mady Siegrist and Satou Sabally.
Both Siegrist and Sabally are double-digit scorers and two of the reasons why the Wings are only averaging 74 points a game over their last five.
Dallas’ recent offensive struggles are a key to my AI-backed prediction.

- Under is 3-1-1 in PHX L5 vs. Western Conference.
- Under is 3-1-1 in PHX L5 home games
Let's look at the board, currently, Phoenix is favored by 8.5 points. That seems reasonable considering Dallas’ struggle lately but that is a lot of points to cover without DT.
The total is set at 174.5. That seems high considering Phoenix has a strong record to the under.
With the trends, stats, and injury news I’m leaning towards the under.
